Aging And Disabilities Resource Center (ADRC)
Assistance and other help for seniors and people with disabilities
The ADRC provides information and assistance services in English and Spanish. These services are provided to seniors age 60 or older, adults with disabilities age 18 to 59, people under 60 who are low income, adults under 60 who are Spanish monolingual, and providers.
The ADRC serves as a one-stop shop for community members to find assistance in accessing services and resources. The ADRC provides consumers with information so they are more aware of their rights and are able to remain living independently in the community.
The ADRC works closely with The Department of Aging and Adult Services (DAAS) Integrated Intake and other disability organizations to provide more efficient information and referral services to seniors as well as younger adults with disabilities.
Some of the services provided by the ADRC are:
- Translation, assistance with completing forms
- Referrals to resources in the community
- Housing opportunities
- Low-income phone/energy programs
- Medicare, Medi-Cal Assistance
- Recreational opportunities
